Wolves open season with Chicago road trip
West Georgia begins its regular season at DePaul and Loyola Chicago before hosting UNC Asheville on November 11. The nonconference schedule also includes December road games at Vanderbilt and Georgia.
Marshal Destremau adds frontcourt depth
West Georgia signs UTRGV transfer Marshal Destremau, a 6-foot-9 forward from Australia. He brings two seasons of Division I experience with the Vaqueros and earlier stops at Clarendon College and Southern Utah.
David Simon joins the Wolves
West Georgia adds Vermont transfer David Simon to its frontcourt. The 6-foot-11 forward previously played at San Diego, where he was a teammate of fellow Wolf Chas Lewless.
UAC slate starts with Arkansas road games
West Georgia opens conference play at Central Arkansas and Little Rock before hosting Tarleton State on January 13. The 16-game schedule gives the Wolves two meetings with each of the other eight UAC programs.
Six spring additions complete the roster
Joanna Reitz adds five transfers and freshman Liyah Williams to complete West Georgia's recruiting class. They join two previously signed freshmen, giving the Wolves eight newcomers for the 2026–27 season.
