Vermont opens the regular season at Iona and Fairfield before hosting Quinnipiac in the America East–Metro Challenge. Six nonconference games are scheduled at Patrick Gym, in addition to three home exhibitions.
Vermont opens against Keene State on November 2 and will host Oregon at Patrick Gym for the first time. The Catamounts also travel to San Juan for Puerto Rico Clasico games against Texas Southern and George Mason.
Former women's basketball player Kari Greenbaum joins Vermont's 2026 Athletic Hall of Fame class. A contributor to two NCAA Tournament teams, she later led the Catamounts in scoring, rebounding and assists during her senior season.
Vermont's America East schedule opens at Binghamton on January 2, with UMass Lowell visiting Patrick Gym next. The Catamounts also host Bryant on Martin Luther King Jr. Day and UMBC during February.

Vermont fell 74–59 to UMBC in the America East championship game. TJ Long led the Catamounts with 17 points as their conference tournament run ended with a 22–12 overall record.
