Texans announce nonconference schedule
Tarleton State opens against Arkansas–Pine Bluff on November 4 and has eight nonconference games at the EECU Center. The schedule also includes trips to TCU and Texas, both coming off deep NCAA Tournament runs.

Tarleton State signs Utah transfer Josh Hayes to complete Eric Haut's first roster. The Texans have four returners and 12 newcomers as they prepare for their inaugural United Athletic Conference season.
UAC tournament returns Texans to Allen
