Broncos visit Denver for WCC opener
Santa Clara begins league play at newcomer Denver on December 31 before hosting Portland on January 2. Loree Payne enters her second conference season after the Broncos tied a program record with 13 WCC wins.
Broncos open with three home games
Santa Clara starts its nonconference schedule by hosting Towson, Milwaukee and Sacramento State. Eight of the 16 games are at the Leavey Center, including visits from New Mexico and NCAA Tournament participant VCU.
Stanford visit highlights early home slate
Santa Clara opens with three road games before hosting Stanford on November 13. The Broncos also travel to the Paradise Jam, where their first matchup is Xavier followed by Texas Tech or Air Force.
Ensminger and Knapper earn NABC honors
Jake Ensminger and Brenton Knapper were selected for the NABC Honors Court. Both had also received WCC academic recognition after helping Santa Clara reach the NCAA Tournament during the 2025–26 season.
Kaycie Dunkerley joins video staff
Santa Clara hires Kaycie Dunkerley as its director of video after four seasons on Lewis & Clark's staff. Her prior work at Stephen F. Austin included video operations, scouting and player development.
