Greenbrier opponents confirmed for Spiders
Richmond will play Western Kentucky on November 20 and Liberty on November 22 at the Greenbrier Tip-Off. Both games will take place in Colonial Hall as the Spiders join a six-team River Division field.

Spiders set Alisa Kresge's first schedule
Richmond will play eight nonconference games at the Robins Center and ten in the metro area. The Spiders open at Charlotte on November 2 before hosting Princeton and Rice as part of a conference scheduling alliance.
Brittani Shells selected for Richmond Hall of Fame
Former women's basketball player Brittani Shells is among five members of Richmond's 2026 Athletics Hall of Fame class. The university announced an October 23 induction ceremony followed by recognition during Homecoming weekend.
Quinn Harmon completes Richmond's staff
Richmond hired Quinn Harmon as video coordinator, completing its men's basketball staff for 2026–27. The Butler graduate arrives after work with the Indiana Fever and will also contribute to scouting, recruiting and team camps.
Richmond announces nonconference road tests
Richmond's 13-game nonconference slate includes six games at the Robins Center, four road contests and three neutral-site dates. The Spiders open against UNC Asheville before beginning a five-game stretch away from home with Temple at the Palestra.
Arisa Ihara completes Richmond's signing class
Richmond signed German guard and forward Arisa Ihara, its final incoming addition for 2026–27. She brings experience with German and Japanese youth national teams and a high school career at Japan Aviation High School Hokkaido.
