Summit schedule opens with northern road trip
Omaha begins conference play at North Dakota on January 7 and North Dakota State on January 9. The Mavericks then return for three home games against St. Thomas, Kansas City and Oral Roberts.
Omaha earns NABC academic recognition
Omaha received the NABC Team Academic Excellence Award after posting a 3.0 cumulative GPA. Five Mavericks also made the Honors Court, including repeat recipient Tony Osburn and teammate Grant Stubblefield.
Justin Bolis returns to Omaha area
Omaha signs Lincoln native Justin Bolis after two seasons at Nebraska. The forward also brings junior college starting experience, having averaged 15.5 points and 8.7 rebounds at Southeast Community College.
Annalese Lamke joins coaching staff
Jamie Carey adds Annalese Lamke to Omaha's staff after her work at Loyola Maryland. The former Minnesota player coached posts and small forwards and helped the Greyhounds reach a program-best Patriot League finish.
Two Nebraska natives join Mavericks
Omaha adds Nyaluak Dak from East Texas A&M and Mya Skoff from Lindenwood. Both return to their home state, with Dak strengthening the interior and Skoff adding experienced guard play.
