Ben Johnson and Nik Mains return to NAU
Northern Arizona added Ben Johnson as associate head coach and former Lumberjack Nik Mains as an assistant. Johnson returns after two seasons at Charlotte, while Mains spent six years with NAU as a player.
Lumberjacks earn their sixth recent NABC academic award
Northern Arizona received the NABC Team Academic Excellence Award for the sixth time in seven years. Five Lumberjacks also made the Honors Court after the team posted a 3.24 grade-point average.

NAU announced eight transfers to join three freshmen and four returning players. Shane Burcar's class draws from Division I, Division II and junior-college programs to address size and athleticism.
NAU's season ends in a one-point tournament loss
Northern Arizona fell 61–60 to Montana in the Big Sky tournament after a final shot missed at the buzzer. Naomi White scored 24 points, while Emma Dasovich set career highs with 16 points and nine rebounds.
Naomi White named Big Sky Freshman of the Year
Naomi White earned Big Sky Freshman of the Year and first-team all-conference honors. The redshirt freshman led the league in scoring and several three-point categories during her standout season.
