Bears announce 15 nonconference games
Morgan State opens at home against Cheyney on November 2 and will host six nonconference contests. The schedule includes road tests at Maryland and Auburn alongside regional opponents as the Bears build around a revamped roster.
Morgan State joins the 410 Invitational
The Bears will open the new Baltimore-area tournament at UMBC on November 12. Morgan State, Loyola Maryland, Towson and UMBC will compete in the rotating event, with Towson hosting the first championship round.
Lady Bears enter the Baltimore tournament
Morgan State will visit UMBC on November 13 in the opening round of the 410 Invitational. The new event includes women’s teams from four Baltimore-area schools and programming connected to Under Armour’s local headquarters.
Reggie Holmes selected for MEAC Hall of Fame
Morgan State great Reggie Holmes will join the MEAC’s 2027 Hall of Fame class during conference tournament week. The former Bears standout becomes the seventeenth Morgan State representative selected for the conference’s highest honor.
Bannerman invited to the HBCU Dream Classic
Ja’la Bannerman received an invitation to the August 8 HBCU All-Star Dream Classic at Rucker Park. The Morgan State graduate guard follows previous Lady Bears participants in the summer showcase for recent HBCU players.
