Jordan Fee finalized Lamar’s roster with Santana Lynch and Filip Radakovic. Radakovic arrives after two seasons at UT Martin and brings international experience, adding size and versatility to the Cardinals’ backcourt.
Lamar paid tribute to former standout Luke Adams, a two-time first-team All-Southland selection and 1971 conference MVP. He averaged a double-double during his two seasons and later entered the Cardinal Hall of Honor.
Lamar highlighted Mike James’s role as captain of a USA qualifying team. The former Cardinal opened his national-team appearance with 15 points and 12 assists against the Dominican Republic after establishing a long professional career.
Shaila Forman, T’Aaliyah Miner, Chisom Oguego, Solenne Olenga and R’Mani Taylor made the Southland All-Academic team. The selections recognize classroom achievement alongside regular playing contributions during Lamar’s 2025-26 season.
Aqua Franklin added four junior college transfers and two Division I transfers for 2026-27. The class includes New Mexico Junior College standout Jada Graves, who helped her previous team reach the national championship game.
Jericka Jenkins joined Aqua Franklin’s staff as an assistant coach while Charinee Mitchell moved back into administration. Jenkins spent eight seasons at Texas State, serving as a graduate assistant, assistant coach and recruiting coordinator.
