Iona hired RJ Sunahara as director of strategy and player development. He arrives from Nova Southeastern, where he worked on individual training, film, scouting and game preparation during a run that included a Division II national championship.

Iona's women's basketball honorees on the EAST-COMM Academic Honor Roll include Naomi Barnwell, Yannie Chan and Ale Civera. Players qualified through academic performance, joining student-athletes from every Iona program in the annual recognition.
